Australia's Peak Resources has announced the construction of a rare earth separation plant in Tees Valley, England. The company will spend £1.85 million ($2.63 million) to lease land for this purpose. Once completed, the plant is expected to produce an annual output of 2,810 tons of high-purity praseodymium neodymium oxide, 625 tons of medium-heavy rare earth carbonate, 7,995 tons of lanthanum carbonate, and 3,475 tons of cerium carbonate.
